Our Story
How it all started
Our Managing Director Mr. Sham Datar, on his official industrial visit to Dubai, realized that India exports premium quality Cold Pressed Oil to Dubai. On due research, he realized that it is nothing but the long lost culture of eating Lakdi Ghana Oil extracted from oilseeds. In this quest, he decided that we Indians also deserve to eat healthy food and not just export our premium grown food to other countries. In India, the sale of harmful Refined Oil and Palm Oil has induced a high risk of cardiovascular diseases and cancer in our food chain.
With a dream of delivering traditional Indian cooking oil on the plates of every Indian at affordable prices, Orgatma was bootstrapped in February 2018.

We are not only making the healthiest consumables but through training and sustainable job creation, we empower rural India to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future.
We have helped 100s of farmers and local small entrepreneurs to set up shop and nurtured their business in the initial stages to make this as a co-operative movement. Thus, building a foundation for positive community transformation along with the aim of empowering rural women. Orgatma is proud to say that 75% of its workforce are women.

One fine day, a good samaritan stopped by at our factory in Surur and got intrigued by the simplicity and novelty of our work. He insisted on taking a factory tour video. To our pleasant surprise, the video was liked and acknowledged by millions of viewers and is still counting. It helped our voice reach across India and people from all over poured in to satisfy their curiosity about the Cold Pressed Oil manufacturing business. This was surely a morale booster for Team Orgatma and all the stakeholders to come up with more products and services in this healthy consumable space.

With this widespread love from all our organic online marketing & word of mouth impressions, more and more people started stopping by at Orgatma factory to understand how oil & other products are produced. Many aspiring entrepreneurs joined hands with us to set up their own manufacturing units. Orgatma supported their venture by offering a 100% buy-back scheme to enable them to book profits from the first month and have a smooth transition in their business. Orgatma soon operated 56 franchises across Maharashtra.
Started exporting to UAE, Malaysia, & Australia
Orgatma has been into the business of traditional art and science of processing agro-products. The company marked a distinct position for itself by offering a mesmerizing range of quality agro commodities. In Dec 2018, Orgatma got its first International order from the UAE market. And since then, there was no looking back.
Today, we are a market-oriented business enterprise having a strong presence both in the National & International markets. We focus on quality, freshness and eco-friendly sustainable operational procedures to supply quality products to the world.

Orgatma has 350+ dealers across India spreading from North to South and East to West. These dealers have helped us reach our customers efficiently in such a short span.
In October 2019, we hit another milestone of opening our dedicated shop with a range of chemical-free grocery items. This shop has become a pit stop shop for tourists visiting Mahabaleshwar. We soon opened 2 more shops in Satara and Pune. Orgatma aims to build such shops in every city to reach its customers with premium food ingredients at an affordable price range.
